1:1's - Get Pedal Ready with GoGet Riding
Delivered most Monday's and Friday's after school and throughout the daytime on Saturday's, 1:1's provide a great opportunity to build confidence and skills and get you off and riding on two wheels.
We have 12" balance bikes for those aged up to 5 yrs, 16" balance bikes bikes for those aged 5 to 11 yrs and a 20" adult balance bikes for those requiring a larger frame.
Once good balance and a level of confidence is developed the rest is plane sailing. We transfer the skills across to one of our pedal bikes, introduce the idea of pedalling and hey presto you're off and cycling.
Obviously we understand that everyone's needs can be very different and that's the great thing about a 1:1. We tailor the session to suit an individual's needs and learning style and go at their own pace. We have years of experience in supporting those who have a learning disability, ADHD and Autism and thrive on the challenge to cater to each person.
We provide a safe and suitable learning environment and all equipment including balance bikes, pedal bikes and helmets, although we do encourage you to bring your own should you have it. All we ask for is a smile and sense of adventure.
1:1's are delivered from one of our York hub spaces, either at Tang Hall Community Centre or Burnholme Community Hub. We mainly deliver our sessions to those aged 4 to 16 yrs, however we have delivered the odd session to super keen 3 yr old's and adults.
Our 1:1's cost £25 for the hour. Should this be something you are interested in then please take a look at our availability. If there is a date and time that suits then please get in contact with us via our contact page. We will double check the calendar before replying and inviting payment via the secure payment page of our website. Once full payment is received the booking is confirmed and we look forward to seeing you at our track.
