OPERATIONS MANAGER

Launching GoGet over 10 years ago, I continue to ensure it remains focused on its original goal: supporting those with a disability to keep active. With 13 years experience working within short breaks and a previous career in outdoor education, I am passionate about supporting people to get into the great outdoors.

I love Autumn as the trees begin to change colours and I have the opportunity to lead some supported rides along some of the local bridleways and cycle paths.

My happiest times are when I’m out on a bike exploring new areas of the great Yorkshire countryside. Alongside my passion for mountain biking is my love for winter sports and getting out on the slopes in Austria with my family.

I have a background in teaching science and outdoor education and I joined GoGet so that I can help other people to experience and enjoy the great outdoors as much as I do. I am often found in the office but I love the opportunity to get back outside and support people to take part in different outdoor activities like cycling, walking and watersports. My favourite activity is getting out into the local Yorkshire countryside and having a walk, taking in the views from the tops of the hills and breathing the fresh countryside air!

In my spare time I love heading to the beach with my family and particularly enjoyed exploring the Outer Hebrides for the beautiful sand, clear blue sea and tranquil surroundings!

Why do I enjoy working with GoGet? That’s an easy one. I get to go on a different, fun-filled adventure every day. I get to explore some of the most beautiful places in England and then to top it off, I get to spend my days with some truly incredible people! What’s not to love?!

My favourite thing to do is travel. I love exploring different cultures and traditions across the globe and collecting memories on the way. If I’m not abroad or out with GoGet, I like to pass the time by heading to the theatre to enjoy a musical. It’s either that or go to a music concert… There’s nothing like the joys of live music!

Hey there! I’m Piper! Arguably the most important member of the GoGet team.

What do I love most in this world? Cheese. Oh, and meaty treats! No, wait.. I love my best tiger pal! He squeaks!

My most important job is chasing down those pesky plant pots in the back garden. Sometimes they get the better of me and end up on my head but I always win… Its not my fault if they break!

Oh wait… I also love socks! Somehow they always find themselves floating in the garden but don’t worry.… I’m really good at catching them! I always ensure that I hide them in my bed… That way they can’t escape again!

Days at GoGet make me love work. Being outdoors, feeling active & forming relationships with some wonderful people. I’m excited every morning to get out with our clients. Outside of GoGet I like to stay busy & active. I spend a lot of my time on quad skates: I play roller derby & go to skateparks as much as I can. I love walking, whether that’s a good hike in the lakes or just strolling along the river, headphones on, pretending I’m in a movie. If you can’t find me doing any of these, I’ll be at a gig or quietly doing a jigsaw on my bedroom floor. Life is about balance, right?

Hello! It’s a privilege to work at GoGet, helping fantastic people enjoy more of life, find joy in nature and discover new skills and passions. I’m inspired by the people we support, and love that this job involves achieving and conquering things together, even if some activities the clients choose are slightly terrifying!

I feel at home in the outdoors, so enjoy lots of adventures, whether that’s going for walks or travelling to different countries. I love music, and will incorporate it into anything I can. Depending on where the mood takes me, my free-time usually consists of playing piano, tinkering on my project cars, or cuddling my pets.

It's wonderful to work at GoGet, where I can spend my time exploring the beautiful Yorkshire countryside whilst supporting our clients to have fun and do what they love. Whether adventuring up on the high ropes, fitting in a game of badminton or heading to the pool for some lengths, it's fantastic seeing those we support to explore new things, challenge themselves, and discover what they're passionate about - all whilst expanding my own horizons too!

In my spare time, I love getting out and about walking in nature - preferably accompanied by my family's pet dog, Zeus! I also enjoy playing (and watching) football, although I'm not particularly good at it. When I'm not outdoors, you're likely to find me baking some delicious treats or enjoying a good book.
